History comes to life through the cherished photographs that tell the story of our town. Many of these incredible images were shared by Herby Queen, whose generosity for preserving Grainfield’s past allows us to step back in time.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Herby for helping keep our history alive, ensuring that future generations can see and appreciate the people, places, and moments that shaped our community.

You may notice some duplicates—I apologize for that. I didn’t want to take away from the photos Herby grouped together.  Each section shares the title of his original file.   We hope to add additional photos as they become available to us.
